WellVue integrates with the following third-party service providers. Each receives only the minimum data required for its function:
•
Google (Gemini API, Google LLC): third party cloud AI service that receives your meal photos, the messages you type, and relevant biometric context to power AI nutrition analysis and conversational wellness insights, under Google's applicable API data processing terms.
•
Resend: sends transactional emails (sign-in codes, password resets) and, only if you opt in, occasional product news and tips emails. You can withdraw consent anytime from Settings, Email Updates, or the unsubscribe link in any such email. Receives your email address and the email contents.
•
Google Sign-In: optional authentication. Receives the OAuth handshake; we receive your name and email from Google.
•
Apple Sign-In: optional authentication. Receives the OAuth handshake; we receive an Apple-issued identifier and (if you choose to share) your name and email.
•
Apple App Store: handles subscription purchases. Receives purchase metadata; WellVue receives a verified subscription status from Apple. Apple does not receive your health data.
•
Oura: your wearable device provider. We access your biometric data via Oura's official cloud API with your OAuth consent. Oura's own privacy policy governs their collection of API usage data.
•
Railway: cloud hosting infrastructure that runs the WellVue backend and stores your data on US-based servers.
•
Cloudflare: content delivery network for the WellVue web pages, and object storage (Cloudflare R2) for data export files. Cloudflare receives standard HTTP request metadata for the website and stores export files until they expire. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures website visits and page performance.
•
Mixpanel: product analytics. On public pages of our website, we also measure page views, time spent on a page, how far a page is scrolled, which page sections come into view, link and App Store link clicks, use of the site menu, and intentional demo plays. These website events use a random identifier stored for the browser tab session, a fixed page name, a broad referral category such as Google or Direct, the campaign tags on our own advertising links, and general device information (device type, operating system, browser family, screen size range and time zone). They do not include form contents, any other URL query values, raw referral URLs, health records, email addresses, or the app account identifier. We disable IP-based geolocation for these events and honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Mixpanel still receives network requests to deliver this service. In the app, Mixpanel receives a stable user identifier, your email address, your sign-in provider, your subscription status, and behavioral events such as which screens you opened, when you started or cancelled a subscription, and when you logged a meal or workout. Mixpanel never receives your health readings, biometric values, meal photos, AI conversations, or the contents of any logged entry. Categorical attributes you entered in Settings (sex assigned at birth, age) are sent so we can analyze usage by cohort. Mixpanel's own privacy policy is available at
mixpanel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
•
Google (Firebase Analytics): advertising measurement in the WellVue iOS app. It records standard app usage events (such as the first time the app is opened, app sessions, screens viewed and in app purchases) and the account creation, onboarding completion and free trial events we send, together with standard device and app information, a random app instance identifier and the vendor identifier iOS gives app developers (never the advertising identifier), so we can measure our Google ads. It never receives your health data, name, email address or the content of anything you log. Google's privacy policy is available at
policies.google.com/privacy.
•
OpenAI: advertising measurement. When you arrive on our website from an ad in ChatGPT, the product and guide pages you then visit load OpenAI's measurement pixel. It tells OpenAI when you tap a link to the App Store so we can see whether our ads work, and it stores two first party cookies on wellvue.ai: OpenAI's ad click reference (kept for 30 days) and a random browser reference (kept for up to 365 days). It does not receive your name, email address or health information, it never loads on pages with forms, and it does not load for other visitors or for browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. OpenAI's privacy policy is available at
openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.
•
Meta: advertising measurement. When you arrive on our website from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, the product and guide pages you then visit load Meta's measurement pixel. It tells Meta that the page was viewed and when you tap a link to the App Store, so we can see whether our ads work and so Meta can show our ads to people more likely to find WellVue useful. It stores two first party cookies on wellvue.ai: a random browser reference and, when you arrived from an ad, Meta's ad click reference (each kept for up to 90 days). Meta also receives standard request information such as your IP address and browser type, and if you use Facebook or Instagram, Meta may associate these events with your account under its own policy. It does not receive your name, email address or health information, it never loads on pages with forms, and it does not load for other visitors or for browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. In the WellVue iOS app (version 1.0.26 and later), Meta's software development kit tells Meta when the app is installed or opened (including how long each app session lasted) and when you create an account or first sign in on a device, start a free trial or subscribe, so we can measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads. We send Meta only these events; the kit adds a daily note of whether the app has permission to track (it never asks for it), standard device and app information (such as device model, operating system version, language, time zone, screen size and a random identifier for this app install) and standard request information such as your IP address. The app never asks for permission to track you, so Meta does not receive your device's advertising identifier, and it never receives your health data, name, email address or the content of anything you log. Meta's privacy policy is available at
facebook.com/privacy/policy.
